Fashion Week San Diego 2014 Night 1: The Art & Beauty Behind Fashion

Fashion Week San Diego is happening this week and I'm very honored to be invited and very excited to be attending. Getting a chance to know very talented designers and seeing the new and upcoming fashion and beauty trends is every fashion gal's dream, right? :). It makes me happy to see that San Diego is keeping up with fashion scene and we have our own Fashion Week now. I can't wait to see this event grow each year with more designers launching and introducing themselves through this event. Any designer who puts out their collections to big events like FWSD is a champion and I truly support them.

Shades of Grey

I'm all about bright colors and rainbows in spring and summer but when fall arrives I unintentionally gravitate towards cooler and neutral colors. This romper is perfect to wear in fall but also great for summer because it is super easy and light, the material just works for both seasons. I wore this outfit to the San Diego Zoo on the first Sunday of September and it kept me cool and comfy all day long. It is a great outfit when you know are going to be outside and walking in the sun for a long time. I styled the romper with my pineapple backpack from Topshop and my favorite beaded sandals from Dolce Vita.

Or maybe I’ll just get sucked into the new fall trends and change my mind. Who knows 🙂 This dear skirt is a very transitional piece since it’s not short and…

Tropical Prints

Ola fashionistas, Summer’s not over yet! It makes me sad to see that we’re fastly approaching the end of summer. Fall is my second favorite season and it is definitely a very exciting time for new fashion trends but summer is just so warm and friendly… that I never want it to end. As we are living the last weeks…
