I had so much fun creating my own style sets for Dailylook‘s LBD from Day to Night Challenge. Thanks Dailylook for inviting me to participate! I would wear the day look to the office, to brunch with girlfriends, to lunch with boyfriend and to a photoshoot. The night look is perfect for cocktails, Holiday parties, birthday parties, dinner at the newest restaurant…
Fashion Week San Diego 2014 Finale Night was pretty spectacular I must say. Haute couture, dreamy and flashy! My favorites of the night were;
the playful gowns by Dulce Alexandra,
the princess with big fluffy skirts by Victoria Roberts,
the Mediterranean inspired resort wear collection composed of colorful floral prints by Salma Owens,
and a luxury jewelry collection presented with a sensational runway show by Alber Rezko.
My favorite show of Fashion Week San Diego Night 4 was Alpaca Couture. I loved the maxi dresses; they had sort of a resort feel. I love that the gowns and maxi dresses almost blended into a cool artsy style with brushstrokes featuring bright and playful graphic patterns. There were these two dresses that were white with pink/purple patterns, one of them is one-shoulder and the other one had cutouts, they looked so fabulous.
On the third day of FWSD I chose to wear a body-con pattern dress by Topshop. Body-con dresses by Topshop always fit me great, also print dresses are one of my favorite timeless trends. Plus, midi length dresses/skirts are one of the most buzzed about trends for the upcoming fall and springs seasons, so what better outfit than this for a fashion event, right? :) I paired the dress with a color block clutch to keep it fun and oxblood high-heels to feel like it's fall even though it is still scorching in SD.
Fashion Week San Diego 2014 Night 2 was a bit different than what normal runway-goers are probably used to, between the “Woven Together” innovative knitwear features and the delightful smiles from the children models it was definitely a sweet experience.
