I’m a big blazer fan, so naturally, I was excited when I started seeing blazer dresses at stores this fall. When I saw this one from Lovers & Friends; I knew this had to come with me to New York for fashion week. Blazer dresses can be worn with mini or maxi skirts, shorts, or trousers/jeans too, but it was a hot day in New York, so I decided to do the dress silhouette by pairing it with just a tank top underneath. It was a super put-together, chic, trendy and comfortable look. I think the top bun made this look even more city chic and cute. Will definitely style them with boots next time!
After the shows of the day and running around in the city, I changed into flip flops, wore my denim shorts and turned the blazer dress into a blazer for a more comfortable and casual look since I planned to walk to the last show of the day. I LOVE that this blazer has pockets because I find it frustrating when jackets and trousers don’t have pockets. Why not right? Pockets make life so much easier ๐
I’m so into the blazer dress trend that I’m sure I’ll be investing in a couple more this fall and winter. I’m already eyeing the ones I linked below, so we’ll see which ones will find themselves in my wardrobe. Stay tuned! ๐
