Lately, I’ve been loving spicing up my summer looks with a blazer. It’s the perfect way to transition an outfit from day to night. A white crop top paired with a blazer has been my go-to outfit lately – it’s not only effortlessly chic, but it’s both business/dinner/date appropriate and super trendy at the same time.
In colder months, I prefer wool blazers naturally but in the summer, River Island’s super lightweight summer blazers are choice. There’s nothing like rocking pastels in spring & summer, and this shade of baby blue is one of my colors obsessions in the summer. LOVE everything about this blazer! The fit, the length, and the color are all so lovely. I’m a petite girl, so it’s hard for me to find blazers that fit like a glove, and River Island’s petite range has been saving me lately.
For browsing stores and hanging out in downtown San Diego with my girlfriends last weekend, I wore this look that consisted of ripped jeans + crop top + chunky necklaces + white pumps and a red belt bag. How cool is this belt bag? Love that it instantly makes an outfit edgy!
And then for dinner and sangria at one of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Sevilla, I swapped the belt bag with a handheld bag, white pumps with baby blue pumps, and added a blazer and belt to the look 🙂

It’s super comfy, flattering, cute and goes with everything! The hem detail is very unique as well. I don’t own any other jeans that have cool details like this one. I already started shopping around for transitional pieces for fall and winter, and I know these pieces will be staples in my fall wardrobe as well.
