4 Must Have One Piece Swimsuit styles for Fourth of July ft. River Island

4th of July is right around the corner so I know most of you guys are looking for the cutest swimsuits in stores right now! My obsession with one piece swimsuits is still going on. I haven’t even worn a bikini yet this summer and not sure if I will honestly. Glam, fun, sexy or vintage – there are soo many cute styles right now and I’m really enjoying styling them for different occasions.

I wore this River Island swimsuit during my glamping adventure in Ensenada, Mexico and it’s stunning! I always match my looks to my surroundings, so this green/black swimsuit was my pick for the earthy tones and wood decks or our tent.

Let’s talk about my favorite swimsuit trends this summer:

  1. One shoulder swimsuit – GLAM: Definitely the most glam of all one piece swimsuit styles. This one specifically is super flattering and the material sucks everything in! I was worried about putting this on right after having breakfast since I get bloated very easily, but it looked great on me even though I was a little bloated. Story of my life! Can you guys believe it’s only $68? It’s worth every single penny! It comes in plain black and white too.
  1. Front cut out swimsuit – FUN: This one is the most fun in my opinion! It’s simple, but the front knot adds the perfect amount of detail. Perfect for pool parties or fun vacays like Miami, Ibiza or Greek Islands. And this white one that I’m wearing is only $56!
  1. Plunge swimsuit – SEXY: Plunge styles like this number are for girls who like to be a little sexier with their swimwear! They are also perfect for shorter girls because they elongate the body by showing more skin. Bold prints like leopard or palm print and metallic details like the one I’m wearing in the pictures below take the sexiness even a notch up!
  1. Scallop trim,  frill or ring details – VINTAGE: If you’re a fan of vintage swimsuits like me, you’re in luck because vintage details like fills, scallop trims and rings are super on trend this season!

Whichever style you end up picking, I hope you guys have an amazing 4th of July!

Also – I’d love to know your favorite swimsuit trends this season. Let me know in the comments!

This post is in partnership with River Island, which is one of my favorite brands. All opinions are my own.
