To me, mini dresses are not always the easiest to throw on since they require a little bit of leg prep 🙂 I need to make sure my legs look on point, and that’s why I usually go for jeans when I have no idea what to wear or if I’m on the go. But when I actually plan to wear a dress and do the prep, I LOVE wearing mini dresses – especially in summer.
For a brunch date in Venice a couple of weeks ago, I wore this cute dress with cherries on it – you guys have heard of me talk about my love for cherry print before! I love floral print all year-round, but cherry and other fruit prints are just so much more fun this time of the year.
I was drawn to the girl–next–door vibe of this dress. It’s definitely flirty, while still looking put–together and chic. I’m loving the silhouette of this dress, especially the tiny straps on the arms and the open back.
Since it’s still a little chilly in Cali, I complimented the dress with an old denim jacket and strappy high-heels. I went a little extra with the shoes, but oh well, I’m a high heels girl and will use any excuse to wear them. For the extra vintage vibes and a pop of color, I wore my white sunglasses and straw raffia bag which is another current favorite. Makes me feel extra girly! These sunnies instantly brighten up any look with the perfect touch of vintage.
