You guys have been seeing me posting swimsuit pictures on my Instagram a lot lately. I had to take a break because it’s been rainy and gloomy in SoCal, but the warm spring weather is supposed to arrive this weekend! Can’t wait!

I’m really feeling the one piece swimsuits this season and can’t get enough of them! I’ve always been a bikini girl and haven’t even tried one piece swimsuits until last summer – remember my pics from trips to Tulum, Turkey and more? Last summer I experimented with a couple of one piece swimwear styles while still mostly wearing bikinis, but this summer (not even summer yet!) I’m completely hooked! Especially the pieces I picked from River Island’s Vacation Shop. They have super cute, unique and vacay chic swimsuits for affordable prices. I already own a couple of their swimsuits and will probably get more in the next months. This khaki number with gold details and cutouts is my current favorite and I think it’s very flattering. I wouldn’t wear this one in boho chic vacations like Bali or Tulum, but I think it’s perfect for New York OR Los Angeles rooftop hangs – mine is currently Ace Hotel in Downtown LA – or beaches of South Tropez. More glam chic environments 🙂 It also comes in yellow and bright pink so I’d go those colors for a destination like Jamaica or one of the other Caribbean countries. Fun fun fun!

I styled this swimsuit with a pink embroidered cover-up that’s also from River Island. I will probably wear this piece as an outfit itself in one of my next vacays. It would make a great look to throw on for grabbing a late breakfast or dinner when you’re staying at a hotel by the beach. Definition of effortless chic and comfy AF. Throw on a couple of accessories like bangles, gold hoop earrings like mine (only $12) and a pair of trendy sunnies and you’re officially resort ready!
