That’s exactly how these mules make me feel like: a cool girl. They just have this badass and confident look – with a touch of extra – that is not easily attainable with sneakers, flat sandals or girly high heels. Though you might feel like Rihanna or Nicki Minaj while rocking these babes, I have to warn you that they’re definitely not easy to style. I wasn’t able to pull them off with any type of skirts or dresses, so I recommend taking the safe OOTD route with these pointed mules and sticking to jeans.

I’ve already worn them a couple of times, and I think my favorite styling was when I wore them with blue jeans, a black wrap crop top, and a denim baker boy’s hat. Me and one of my blogger friends Delaney wanted to do a pit spot in DTLA to take a couple of pics before an event we were going in Hollywood, and Ace Hotel in DTLA was a no-brainer. It’s one of my favorite spots in LA – especially for shooting – and indulging in truffle french fries at their restaurant, Best Girl. You guys have to check out Ace Hotel and their restaurant if you haven’t yet. Their rooftop is super cute too. I was just recently there too and took these swimsuit pics.

I used to live and work very close to downtown Los Angeles and it’s one of my favorites places in the world. I love the mix of urban, cool, hippie yet low-key vibes of this neighborhood.

But enough about my love for DTLA – this look is very urban and screams urban swag to me. It’s trendy, cool and chic but still very put together and structured in my opinion. What do you guys think? Would you wear these shoes are they too extra for you?

P.S.: These mules are currently on sale and down to $70 from $110. Highly recommend getting them while before they’re sold out!
