Finding Nature in the City – Huntington Gardens

I fell in love with Huntington Gardens even before I saw it with my own eyes. Since I moved to LA I knew that I needed to see more green because you don’t see any green in the city. As soon as I discovered Huntington Gardens I knew this was going to become a relaxation place for me so I got a yearly membership. So far, I’ve only got to go in scorching hot summer days but can’t wait to visit again in cooler days. My favorite sections are the Japanese garden, the desert (cactus) garden and the jungle garden.

This outfit was one of my summer uniforms this summer. The lace hemmed floral shorts are very romantic and sweet, while the sleeveless turtleneck top makes every outfit trendy. Another summer obsession was this fedora hat by Australian brand ‘Lack of Color’. Randomly discovered the brand on Instagram and now obsessed. This style is called ‘Spencer Boater’. I’m thinking about getting another style for fall from the brand.
