Are you a sweatshirt lover like me, but only throw them on when you’re walking your dog, going to the grocery store, traveling or running weekend errands?That’s why I wore them too–until recently. After I fell in love with this print sweatshirt with text ‘DREAMER’ from River Island, I started thinking about more creative ways to make a sweatshirt part of a chic look which is more my style.
I styled this sweatshirt with these ruffle jeans, specifically because I wear skinny jeans all the time and I wanted to spice things up a bit this time. Also, I think it adds a girly touch to complement the oversized vibe of this sweatshirt. I tucked in the sweatshirt into my jeans and voila! I finish the look with metallic pumps and a boxy woven handbag with gold chain details to keep the metallic vibes going.
I’m sure I’ll wear this sweatshirt on my next flight, or next time I go to the beach to watch the sunset. Now that I have more ideas in mind to style them, I’m open to wearing them out more, especially with high-heels. What do you guys think about making sweatshirts look chic?
