I’ve always been a blazer girl at heart. There’s nothing that makes me feel more sophisticated than a blazer look. Whether it’s fitted, structured, oversized, printed or single color, there’s something about blazers that always attract me. A good blazer is definitely a classic staple needed in everyone’s closet. They can complete any outfit and are one of my go-to items if I’m in a rush but still want to look put together! Did I mention they’re CHIC? Yes, totally!!
The blazer I’ve been loving nowadays is this one from Tularosa via Revolve because it’s very form-fitting while being feminine. While I love the cool-girl effect of unbuttoned blazers, feel free to button them if you’re going for a more classic and conservative look.
When wearing blazers, I usually go for jeans since I love the juxtaposition of PLAID AND JEANS. I think denim makes the sophisticated plaid blazer feel a little more casual, street style and edgy if you want it to.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with blazers more than I’ve ever been and being more risqué. BODYSUITS are a great piece to make blazers look more sexy and edgy. I’m pretty obsessed with this red bodysuit and plaid blazer combo I’ve styled for this shoot, and already planned to style them with sexier, lace bodysuits and mini skirts + boots this Holiday season.
To take this look up a notch, I wore leopard print high-heels from Public Desire and a bucket bag from LPA. Leopard print is one of the biggest trends of the season, and these shoes are a fun way to incorporate it into your festive and/or daily outfits. To finish off the look, I wore these cat eye sunnies from Urban Outfitters which were under $20.
This look would be as perfect for a Holiday Party as it would for a meeting or a fancy event! Don’t you guys agree? The red bodysuit with gold details and the leopard heels are the perfect glam touches to this look and scream Holiday parties to me!
