As you might have noticed on my Instagram, I’m currently in Turkey visiting my family and friends. My trips back home are usually last minute – this one wasn’t very different since I got my ticket two days before my flight. After moving houses in San Diego, I decided it was a good time for this trip since I haven’t had a chance to visit my family since last September. Plus, I’ve been wanting to attend Istanbul Fashion Week for years!
Between shows, we took 10 minutes to get a few shoots in. I decided to wear this Topshop slip dress since this is one of the few outfits I brought with me on this trip. You guys know how much I love my Topshop slip dresses and this one is a favorite for fall. The color screams fall and can be dressed up or down. (It’s currently on sale for $39.99 – 50% discounted). I didn’t bring many outfits with me since it was a last minute trip, but I managed to pop my head in Topshop before my flight to get a couple of pieces. As much as slip dresses are perfect for summer, they’re also great transition pieces for fall, especially paired with trench coats and leather jackets.
