Summer has officially arrived here and I’m so happy to finally be able to wear light pieces that are fun and flowy. Summer is my favorite season to be daring and creative with my styling. It’s so much easier to wear different silhouettes for different occasions, and it’s fun! Eye catching prints are my jam this summer, like these print shorts I’m wearing today. They make such a statement that I could probably wear them with any neutral color top and shoes. Since I am currently obsessed with off the shoulder tops, I styled these shorts with this black off the shoulder bodysuit. If you’re following me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me wearing me this top a ton lately. It’s one of my current go-to pieces that match any bottoms in my wardrobe. Yay for finding pieces likes this one! My trusty old leather jacket is another part of my outfit, as always. Just in case it gets chilly after the sun sets. Because it always does in SD 🙂
Quick tip for styling eye catching prints: Start with the printed piece and just work around that. For me, that is usually a pair of print shorts or a skirt. Sticking to neutrals like black and beige is the easiest and quickest way to style a printed piece. Unless you want style a print on print outfit and have extra time to style your look 🙂
