Gingham trend is back and I’m stoked! It’s everywhere this season, and although this top is the first gingham piece I purchased this season, it’s definitely not the last. I’m eyeing so many cute gingham pieces right now and I’m having a hard time resisting them all.

When I first got my hands on this top, my vision for the look was with denim and simple high-heels. I opted for this minimalist pair from Donald J PIiner and my current fave boyfriend jeans that you might have seen in my previous posts.

I’ve had these shoes on repeat for a little while now because they go with everything, including gingham trend which can be hard to style! They’re the shoes I ALWAYS keep in the car in case I make impromptu plans for happy hour drinks or a nice dinner. I’m obsessed with the minimal details and confidence boost these babies give. They’re the kind of shoes that give the “chic effect” to any outfit.

However, I’m very particular about the high-heels I wear. I have to be comfortable and able to walk in them. I have so many pairs that I buy just because they’re pretty, but end up not wearing them after shooting blog photos because they’re just not practical. High-heels from Donald J.Pliner definitely don’t disappoint. The brand is well known for its high-quality leather and handcrafted construction which is what makes them so comfortable. My fashionista girls who love going out and are always on the hunt for comfortable heels while making a statement (like rocking gingham) – this brand is for you!

This pair called Gabbi also comes in gold, rose gold, and silver, but I went for the black since I needed a simple pair for my wardrobe. They’re currently on a crazy sale for only $149 plus the 20% off Memorial Day sale so don’t miss this chance if you want them! Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Thank you to Donald J Pliner for kindly sponsoring this post, but all opinions are 100% honest and completely my own.
