I’ve always been a skincare junkie and love trying different skincare products. But in reality, to see the actual results from skin care products you have to use them for months and be very consistent, which is hard for me since I like changing things up.
I’ve recently come to learn that your skin care priorities change as you age. When I was a teenager, a good face scrub or cleanser, a Nivea moisturizer and sunscreen did the job, but now I have to start thinking about using skincare products that help prevent aging.
Lately, I’ve been using Vine Vera’s Resveratrol Cabernet Collection, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with the results I’m seeing.
If you’re not familiar with Resveratrol, it’s a powerful antioxidant found in the skin of red grapes. It is thought to cleanse your body of impurities and helps in preventing the appearance of aging signs such as fine lines and wrinkles.
I’ve been using most of the products from this collection for the past month, and so far I’m liking the moisturizer and eye serum. My sleep routine is pretty irregular nowadays, and most days I sleep from 4am-10am, and this reflects on my skin and under eye area. My skin feels dull and broken out, and my under eye area has dark circles galore.
I’ve used many luxurious moisturizers, but this one is different than the rest. My face feels plump, supple and pampered after using it. It gives the nourished, healthy look that my skin lacks in sleepless days and makes me feel healthy. Another thing I love about this cream is that in addition to the main ingredients of resveratrol, vitamin A, and vitamin E, it also includes seaweed extract and avocado oil which is an excellent source of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins.
My second favorite product from the collection is the high-potency eye serum which is a lifesaver for my sleep-deprived eyes. Using it regularly for the past month has helped to minimize my dark circles. This serum includes Vitamin C which helps reduce the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines. I love that this product gives my undereye area the nutrition it needs (bye bye dark circles), and preps it for the eye cream. When I’m in a rush and don’t have time to do my full skincare routine, I choose this eye serum over the eye cream.
While these products are a little pricey, I’m at the point where splurging on skincare is worth it to slow the aging of my skin. Vine Vera Resveratrol Cabernet collection is the prime example of a skincare line that I view as an investment for a long-term return.
Would love to hear if any of you have tried this and what your experience is like!
