I’m enjoying my last week in Turkey before I head back home to Cali next week and honestly, it’s going to be a little hard to leave Turkey this time. The weather is just perfect, still 90s and I’ve been having a great time exploring the Aegean coast with my mom and seeing all my friends & family. If you’re following me on Instaworld, you know 😉
On a fashion note – we are officially in the in-between season where summer is transitioning into fall. It’s still very hot during the day but chilly in the evenings. I personally love this time of year when I’m still wearing summer clothes but slowly starting to sneak in new new fall pieces as layers. I’m a big fan of wearing dresses like this midi striped one (from New Look via Asos and currently on sale for $26!) (similar HERE) because they are very easy to layer, which is why they’re perfect for this time of the year. Throw a cardigan, a bomber jacket or a leather jacket on top. Anything will work!
These lace-up espadrille wedges were a big favorite of mine in the summer and they’re also perfect for the summer to fall transition. Trust me, lace-up shoes are still a big trend this fall. Especially the brown hued ones. This is why I paired this look with a brown bucket bag. Too early for blacks in my opinion!! I really like the combination of the summer vibes – the blue color, the gladiator sandals – and the brown hued, fall vibes in this look. And since it’s still technically summer, I’m sticking to sleeveless everything while I still can.
